This study aims to determine the role of parental involvement on mathematics self-efficacy of students in Indonesia based on PISA 2022 data. Mathematics self-efficacy is defined as an individual's belief in their ability to complete mathematical tasks, while parental involvement refers to parental support and interaction in supporting children's learning. This study used a quantitative method with secondary data analysis from PISA 2022. The research sample consisted of 13,439 Indonesian students selected through stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used comes from the Student Questionnaire that has been designed by the OECD. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the effect of parental involvement on students' mathematics self-efficacy. The results of the analysis showed that parental involvement significantly predicted students' mathematics self-efficacy, F(1, 13,437) = 501.24, p < .001, R² = .036. This means that parental involvement explains about 3.6% of the variance in mathematics self-efficacy, while the remaining 96.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This finding indicates that parental involvement plays an important role in supporting students' mathematics self-efficacy, although the contribution is relatively small.en_US
