Limited capital, fluctuating prices of DOC (Day Old Chick), market uncertainty, and lack of farmers’ understanding of broiler chicken productivity are the main obstacles faced by farmers in Deli Serdang Regency. These conditions have encouraged many farmers to join partnership systems. The partnership system is expected to increase farmers' income through a higher success rate in production. This study aims to analyze the difference in the success rate between broiler chicken farming using the partnership system (treatment group) and the independent system (control group). Data were collected through interviews with 66 broiler chicken farmers selected using the cluster sampling method. The analytical tool used is Propensity Score Matching (PSM) with the Nearest Neighbor Matching method, supported by STATA software. The results show that the partnership system has a significant impact on the success rate of broiler chicken farming, where the average production of farms under the partnership system is 1.33% higher than that of independently operated farms.en_US
