Analisis Kadar Ca dan Mg pada Pupuk Dolomit dengan Menggunakan Metode Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom
Analysis of Ca and Mg Contents in Dolomite Fertilizer Using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry Method
Abstract
An analysis of the content of Ca and Mg metal content in dolomite fertilizer at the Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) laboratory has been carried out. Dolomite is a mineral that comes from nature that contains Magnesium (Mg) and Calcium (Ca) nutrients with high enough levels, used as a liming material in acidic mineral soils to increase soil pH. The purpose of this study was to determine the calcium and magnesium levels in dolomite fertilizer. The method used is Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). The results of the research conducted, obtained calcium (Ca) = 27,06% and magnesium (Mg) = 18,28%. Based on the SNI 02-2804-2005 standard, it can be concluded that the dolomite fertilizer with a sample number of
67 in the fertilizer laboratory obtained does not meet the standard.
