This study aims to determine the feasibility of financial in the laying hen
farming business in Pantai Labu District. This research was conducted in August-
October 2023. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained through
observation and interviews and secondary data through literature. The sample
determination was carried out by the disproportionate stratified sampling method
with a total of 28 respondents. Data analysis was carried out by calculating
cashflow, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Net Benefit Cost Ratio.
The results of the study show that the value of cash inflow is greater than the value
of cash outflow, so that the average net cash flow or net cash flow is obtained of
IDR 66,502,969,530 in the large strata, IDR 5,878,048 in the medium strata and
IDR 1,221,321,818 in the small strata. The NPV uses an interest rate of 17%
resulting in a value of IDR 1,622,242,895 in the small strata, then a value of IDR
15,087,797,386 in the medium strata and a value of IDR 170,708,084,154 in the
large strata. As for IRR and Net B/C, different values were obtained in small strata,
namely 43% for IRR values and 2.07 for Net B/C values, while IRR and Net B/C
values in medium and large strata were the same, namely 47% and 1.82. So
according to the financial feasibility indicator, it can be concluded that the laying
breed chicken farming business in Pantai Labu District is feasible to run and invest.
Sensitivity analysis was also carried out through a financial aspect approach by
adding a scenario of a decrease in revenue to 10% to 30%, then a value of >1 was
obtained which showed that the laying breed chicken farming business was
sensitive to changes in assumptions
