dc.description.abstractloud point analysis has been conducted in the Laboratory of PT Able Commodities Indonesia. Cloud point is the lowest temperature at which solid components (wax) begin to form and appear as turbidity in the oil. This parameter is very important to determine the performance of oil at low temperatures, especially in industrial and automotive applications. This study aims to determine the effect of mixing palm oil with different cloud point values on changes in the cloud point of the mixture. The samples used consisted of pure palm oil CP 8 and CP 10, as well as a mixture of both with a composition ratio of 10:90, 20:80, and 30:70. The test was carried out using a gradual cooling method until the first turbidity was formed as an indicator of the cloud point. The results showed that pure CP 8 and CP 10 had cloud points of 8.1°C and 10.0°C, respectively. The mixture of CP 8(10%):CP 10(90%) produced the lowest cloud point of 7.7°C, indicating a decrease in cloud point due to mixing. However, increasing the proportion of CP 8 does not always result in a linear decrease in cloud point. The mixture of CP 8(30%):CP 10(70%) actually showed an increase in cloud point up to 8.4°C. These results indicate that mixing palm oil with different cloud points does not always produce an additive or linear effect, and is influenced by complex interactions between saturated and unsaturated components in the mixture. This study can be the basis for the formulation of cooking oil products with optimal clarity stabilityen_US
