Crude palm oil (CPO) is the primary product of oil palm processing. However, during the production process, not all oil is extracted completely. Some oil remains in the press pulp and empty fruit bunches, often referred to as oil losses. The purpose of this study was to analyze oil loss in the press pulp and empty fruit bunches, and to calculate the percentage of oil loss in the press pulp and empty fruit bunches. The study was conducted at PTPN IV Regional II, Adolina PKS Unit. Samples of press pulp and empty fruit bunches were taken periodically throughout the production process. After that, the samples were analyzed to determine oil loss in the press pulp and empty fruit bunches. This analysis process was carried out using an extraction method, where the samples were extracted using n-hexane solvent. N-hexane functions as a solvent that can attract and dissolve the remaining oil in the sample. This method was used so that the remaining oil in the press pulp and empty fruit bunches could be analyzed and its percentage oil content calculated. The results of the study showed that the oil loss rate in the press dregs was 3.44%, while in the empty bunches it was 1.65%. From these results, it can be concluded that the oil loss in the press dregs is still below the maximum standard set by the company, which is below 5%. Likewise, in the empty bunches, it still meets the company's maximum standard, which is below 2%. The results of this study indicate that the amount of oil loss in the press dregs and empty bunches is still in accordance with the maximum limit set by the company. By knowing these loss figures, the company can evaluate and reduce the amount of oil loss in the press dregs and empty bunches of oil palmen_US
