    Abstract
In accordance with Law Number 30 of 2009 concerning Electricity and other relevant regulations, PT.PLN (Persero) as a business actor in the electricity sector, has regulations for consumers to maintain the safety of electrical equipment in consumers' homes, and if violated, consumers will be subject to sanctions in accordance with applicable laws. The consumer dispute case between PT.PLN (Persero) Banjarbaru as the cassation applicant and Bambang Syamsuzar Oyong as the cassation respondent in the Supreme Court decision Number.80 K/Pdt.Sus-BPSK/2024 was considered inconsistent with Law Number 30 of 2009 concerning Electricity, attracting attention, because consumers have clearly violated consumer obligations according to the Electricity Law, however, in the decisions of BPSK and the District Court, consumers won and did not need to pay the Follow-up Bill, the last way in the Supreme Court PT.PLN (Persero) Banjarbaru won. In writing this thesis, using normative methods and field research that will answer legal issues by using a legal rule, legal principles, and complementing the thesis with field research. This writing looks at the laws and regulations on electricity and interview guidelines that are sourced from data in the form of information related to consumer dispute decisions. The purpose of this study is to determine the legal consequences obtained by consumers, if they commit violations of the use of electricity connections without permission. The results of this analysis indicate that the regulation of violations of the use of electricity connections that may not be carried out by consumers is regulated through various legal regulations that aim to prevent material and non- material losses caused by electricity consumers. Submission of a cassation application must meet the formal and material requirements that have been regulated in the Law and Government Regulations. In the case of Supreme Court Decision Number 80 K / Pdt.Sus-BPSK / 2024, the Panel of Judges decided that the Cassation Application could be accepted because the decisions of the BPSK and the District Court had errors in them and the evidence and reasons for the cassation applicant had a strong legal basis. This shows that in handling the cassation application, the panel of judges carefully considered the evidence submitted.
