Analysis of Key Success Factors in the Implementation of Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) in Private Universities
Abstract
Universities are based on the suitability of implementation between the organization of tridharma activities and other adcovates with quality standards that have been established by universities. University Muhammadiyah of North Sumatera (UMSU) has set 8 quality standards in the field of education based on the attainment of the Main Performance Indicator (IKU) standarsd which are implemented and operationalized in the form of a Strategy Performance Index (IKS), but the achievement of quality standards for content and learning management has not reached the predetermined target. The purpose of this research is to analyze, evaluate and redesign the impact of key success factors with application of Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) in Universities using DEMATEL-ANP and AHP methods. This research uses 3 factors with 11 sub factors that have been validated by I-CVI method. The results of the analysis using DEMATEL-ANP method were the selection of the top management support factor (A) is 0,0402, and the resource allocation sub factor (A2) is 0,0111. While the AHP method are the technological competence factor (C) is 0,4602 and the strategic leadership sub factor (A4) is 0,1688. Based on the calculation of DEMATEL-ANP and AHP methods, the DEMATEL-ANP method was chosen because it can show how factors and subfactors affect each other so that the analysis results become more realistic.
