ANALISIS FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI JUMLAH PENDUDUK MISKIN DI KOTA MEDAN

Abstract

In the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), poverty is synonymous with poverty. These two terms are often referred to together, namely fakir miskin, which refers to individuals who are very poor. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence economic growth, open unemployment rate, average years of schooling, life expectancy, inflation, and labor force participation rate have on the number of poor people in Medan City using multiple linear regression. The data sources in this study were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) related to the research variables published on the official web from 2010 - 2024. The results of this study obtained a multiple linear regression equation: Ŷ = 406.494 + 1.277661X1 + 1.692798X2 - 13.0365X3 - 1.76854X4 + 1.084694X5 + 0.614638X6. Together (simultaneously) the independent variables affect the dependent variable. The effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable is 74.29%.
