dc.description.abstractThe lighting needs of each room are sometimes different. Everything depends and is adjusted to the activities carried out. Several studies regarding the relationship between productivity and lighting have drawn attention, that sufficient lighting and arranged according to the type of work can produce maximum production and reduce costs. The amount of light intensity needs to be known because basically humans need sufficient lighting. Light intensity greatly influences the conditions of a place, for example humidity, temperature and so on. This research aims to design a cheap light intensity tool and also to find out whether the light intensity measuring tool using an AtMega328-based TSL2561 sensor is sensitive or not. From the test results of this tool, which is compared with digital lux meters, it generally has a maximum error of 2,3% and a minimum error of 0,225%.en_US
