Production water is water used in the production process of an industry. Water quality is one of the key factors in the production process across various industries, especially those related to industrial manufacturing. This study was conducted to analyze the levels of phosphate and silica in the treated production water at PT. Soci Mas Medan. The UV-Visible spectrophotometric method was chosen because of its high sensitivity in determining the concentration of inorganic compounds in water.Phosphate and silica are important components that can affect water quality, so proper control is necessary during the treatment process. In the measurement of phosphate, a precipitation process was carried out using molybdic acid reagent, while silica was analyzed using silikomolibdit acid reagent. The analysis results showed variations in phosphate and silica levels at each sampling point, which were then compared to applicable water quality standards. This study is expected to provide useful information for improving the efficiency of the water treatment process at PT. Soci Mas Medan, as well as maintaining the quality of the final product. The results of the analysis showed that the phosphate levels in the samples were 7.2509 mg/L, 7.1872 mg/L, and 7.5679 mg/L, while the silica levels in the samples were 4.590 mg/L, 4.2220 mg/L, and 4.1079 mg/L. Based on the results of the experiments that have been carried out, it was found that the levels of phosphate and silica that have been analyzed using the UV-visible spectrophotometry method meet the specified standard limits and can be used.
