Development Of Automatic Sorting System Of Boxes With Iot For Data Collection And Analysis Of Box Size
Abstract
Along with the development of technology today, especially in industrial technology. the process of working and Sorting a product that can facilitate and speed up work, Humans are required to always be creative in developing technology in all aspects of life including in Sorting work. This study aims to design an Automatic Sorting tool using an IoT system that can sort automatically based on Length and Height where in this study the researcher used a box as a sorting trial product. The system uses an Infrared Sensor to measure the length of the box and an Ultra Sonic Sensor to measure the height of the box, and uses a conveyor as a box track in the sorting process. The results show that the tool can sort boxes with a size of 3 cm Height 6 cm long, and 5 cm Height 10 cm Long automatically based on the data entered in the telegram application as desired. This tool can facilitate human work in the sorting process both in the industrial and non-industrial worlds so that human error is minimal
