    Abstract
As an archipelagic country, Indonesia heavily relies on road infrastructure to support connectivity and economic growth. However, the existing pavement systems still face challenges in terms of durability and environmental impact due to the use of conventional materials. This study aims to evaluate the mechanical properties and fire resistance of composites formed from Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) mortar combined with porous asphalt gravel made from recycled styrofoam and crumb rubber (CR). The evaluation was conducted through impact and fire resistance testing on cube-shaped specimens (15 × 15 × 15 cm) at 3 and 7 days of curing. Waste materials such as fly ash and rice husk ash were used as partial cement substitutes due to their pozzolanic properties, while styrofoam and crumb rubber served as lightweight recycled aggregates. The test results revealed variations in deformation characteristics and heat penetration among the different material compositions, indicating the potential of waste utilization as an additive in sustainable construction. This research is expected to contribute to the development of eco-friendly and durable semi-flexible or semi-rigid pavement materials capable of withstanding dynamic loads and extreme temperatures.
