Kotak Penitipan Barang Berbayar Menggunakan Coin Acceptor dan Sensor Rfid sebagai Sistem Smartlock
Paid Luggage Drop Box using Coin Acceptor and Rfid Sensor as Smartlock System
Abstract
Baggage storage is an essential service often needed in public locations such
as malls, stations, and airports. However, traditional storage systems frequently face
various obstacles, including long queues, risk of lost items, and the need for staff to
manage transactions. Therefore, this research aims to develop a paid storage locker
system utilizing Coin Acceptor technology and RFID Sensors as smartlocks. The
designed system allows users to make payments directly using coins, which then
provides access to the storage box. RFID sensors are used for the access system in
the storage lockers where the sensor only identifies cards or tags owned by the user.
Research results show that this system successfully improves the efficiency of item
storage and retrieval processes, reduces the risk of loss, and provides a better
experience for users. From 10 experimental data trials, the test results obtained show
that only Rp1,000 coins with registered cards can open the box, while other
combinations Rp1,000, Rp500 (silver), Rp500 (bronze), Rp200, Rp100 coins with
unregistered cards will not open the box. Additionally, Rp500 (silver), Rp500
(bronze), Rp200, Rp100 coins with registered cards also will not open the box. Thus,
this paid storage locker system not only offers a practical solution in baggage
storage management but also serves as an example of technological innovation that
can be implemented in various public places.
