Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Volume Ekspor Ribbed Smoked Sheet 1 (RSS-1) (Studi Kasus: PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I)

Abstract

Ribbed Smoked Sheet 1 (RSS-1) is one of the processed rubber products produced and exported by PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I to the international market. RSS-1 is the company’s leading processed rubber product, with the highest annual export volume compared to the other rubber products. The fluctuation in RSS-1 export volume poses a challenge for the company in maintaining the sustainability of its export activities and overall business operations. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the export volume of RSS-1 and to examine the export volume trend of RSS-1 during the period from January 2019 to December 2023 at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I. Data were obtained from PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I, Bank Indonesia, and the Ministry of Agriculture. The analytical methods used in this research are Multiplier Linear Regression to identify the factors influencing the export volume of RSS-1 and Trend Analysis to determine the trend pattern of RSS-1 export volume. This data used in this research are secondary monthly time series data for 2019-2023. The results of the research indicate that production volume and international RSS-1 price have a positive and significant effect on export volume. SIR-10 price has a positive but insignificant effect, while RSS-1 price and exchange rate have a negative and significant effect. The trend analysis reveals that the export volume of RSS-1 follows a downward-opening quadratic trend.
