Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Volume Zat Cair Berbasis Sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04
Design and Construction of a Liquid Volume Monitoring System Based on an HC-SRO4 Ultrasonic Sensor
Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a liquid volume monitoring system based on the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and Arduino Uno microcontroller. The system uses a cylindrical acrylic tube as the main container, where the liquid volume is calculated based on distance data from the HC-SR04 sensor and converted using the cylinder volume formula. Measurement data is displayed in real-time via an LCD interface and transmitted to the Blynk application using the ESP32 module for remote monitoring. A mini pump is also integrated as an actuator to fill or drain the liquid as needed. The software is designed to convert distance measurements into liquid volume by considering the maximum height of the container. Testing was conducted by comparing the actual liquid volume with the system's measurements. The results show that the system has a high level of accuracy, with an error percentage ranging from 0% to 0.083% and an average error of 0.0565%. These values are well within the acceptable tolerance limit of ±5% for liquid volume monitoring applications. Therefore, the system is reliable as an efficient and real-time liquid volume monitoring solution.
