dc.description.abstractBackground: The use of various figures of speech in the album “Never Enough” by Daniel Caesar. Objective: This study aims to find and describe the figures of speech found in the album Never Enough by Daniel Caesar. Method: The author uses a qualitative descriptive research method. To obtain data, the author selects songs by compiling 15 songs from the album Never Enough and choosing songs that have odd numbers, so that 7 songs are obtained to be described. Results: The results of describing the 7 selected songs by Daniel Caesar from the album “Never Enough” are 11 figures of speech found, namely Metaphor, Personification, Hyperbole, Paradox, Simile, Irony, Metonymy, Antithesis, Alliteration, Allegory and Litotes. Conclusion: Of the eleven figures of speech found, the author found that Metaphor is the most frequently used figure of speech in the songs.en_US
