Design And Construction Of An Iot-Based Steam Power Plant With Energy Output That Can Be Monitored And Controlled In Real-Time
Abstract
Steam Power Plant (PLTU) is a renewable alternative energy that utilizes wind
energy as a driver. This PLTU uses an IOT-based monitoring system that is
displayed on thingspeak using the nodemcu ESP32 microcontroller as data storage
from sensors and sending data using the internet network. The purpose of
monitoring is to facilitate supervision and view the current, voltage, and RPM
generated from the movement of wind on the windmill in real time. Each
measurement on the sensor is carried out 5 times. The measurement produces an
accuracy value of the current, voltage and RPM readings using a voltage sensor,
ACS712 sensor and IR sensor which has an accuracy value of 96.025% for the
voltage sensor, 94.52% ACS712 sensor and 94.15% IR sen- sor. The result of this
study is the creation of a system that can monitor the generator output from an IOT
based PLTU
