The palm oil-based oleochemical industry has an important role in economic development. Palm kernel oil as one of its derivative products is widely used in various sectors, such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and biodiesel. To ensure the quality of raw materials in the industry, analysis of chemical parameters such as acid numbers and iodine numbers is essential. This study aims to determine the level of acid number in Palm Kernel Oil Fatty Acid (PKOFA) and iodine number in the results of Fatty Acid Binding Hydrolysis (FABH), and compare it with the set quality specifications. The analysis was carried out for three consecutive days. The test results showed that the value of PKOFA acid number ranged from 248.03-253.37 mgKOH/gr, still within the range of the standard quality specification of 245-255 mgKOH/gr. Meanwhile, the value of the iodine number in FABH is between 0.43-0.46 cgI2/gr, and also meets the standard specification of 0.40-0.60 cgI2/gr. Both parameters indicate that the tested product is of good quality and stable according to the required standards.
