    Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the mechanical performance of Crumb Rubber-ECC (Engineered Cementitious Composite) with porous asphalt gravel based on Styrofoam and Crumb Rubber (CR) waste, through compressive and flexural strength testing. The composite is developed by utilizing eco-friendly materials such as fly ash, rice husk ash, and municipal solid waste (Styrofoam and Crumb Rubber) mixed into the ECC mortar. The tests were conducted on cube specimens (15x15x15 cm) for compressive strength and beam specimens (15x15x60 cm) for flexural strength at 3 and 7 days of age. The results show that the use of Styrofoam and Crumb Rubber as asphalt modifiers in the gravel composite contributes to improved compressive and flexural strength values, especially at the optimum mix variation of 7.5%. This mix demonstrated enhanced mechanical performance compared to the control (pure asphalt). Fly ash and rice husk ash act as pozzolanic materials that improve the compactness and strength of the mixture, while Crumb Rubber and Styrofoam improve the pore structure and flexibility of the composite. The use of ECC as a grouting material was proven effective in filling voids between gravels and strengthening the pavement system. This study highlights the potential of utilizing industrial and household waste in the development of more sustainable road construction materials and opens up opportunities for applying Crumb Rubber-ECC as an innovative alternative in composite pavement systems in Indonesia.
