dc.description.abstractAnalysis of water content and impurity content determination has been conducted on Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PTPN IV Regional I PKS Aek Nabara Selatan. Water content is determined using a Moisturizer Analyzer. And the analysis of Impurity Content is determined using the Filtration/Filtering and drying methods. From the analysis results obtained, the Water Content in Storage Tank 1000 is respectively 0.12% in the upper sample, 0.15% in the middle and 0.19% in the lower part and the Water Content in the truck tank is respectively 0.16% in sample code 1, 0.16% in sample code 2 and 0.19% in sample code 3. And the Dirt Content in storage tank 1000 is respectively 0.013% in the upper part, 0.016% in the middle, and 0.020% in the lower part and the dirt content in the truck tank is respectively 0.012% in sample code 1, 0.013% in sample code 2, and 0.015% in sample code 3. The average Water Content in the storage tank is 0.15% and the average Water Content in the truck tank is 0.17%. And the average Impurity Content in the storage tank is 0.016% and the average Impurity Content in the truck tank is 0.013%. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that Crude Palm Oil (CPO) still meets the quality standards for Water Content and Impurity Content. Based on SNI 01-2901-2006 concerning Water Content and Impurity Content in Crude Palm Oil (CPO). The standard quality value of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) for Water Content <0.5% and Impurity Content <0.5%.en_US
