This study aims to determine the growth and production of sweet potato against different numbers of cuttings and types of manure planted in sacks. This research was conducted in Aek Kanopan, Kualuh Hulu District, North Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level from January 2025 to May 2025. This study used the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) method with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor was the number of cuttings, namely 1 and 2 cuttings/sack. The second factor is the type of manure, namely no manure, cow manure, goat manure and chicken manure. Parameters observed in this study included stem length, tuber length per sample, tuber diameter per sample, number of tubers per sample, tuber weight per sample, fresh shoot weight per sample, and harvest index. The results showed that the treatment of the number of cuttings had a significant effect on the length of the stem 4-10 weeks after planting, the diameter of tubers per sample, the number of tubers per sample, the weight of tubers per sample, the fresh shoot weight per sample, and the harvest index but had no significant effect on the length of tubers per sample. The best growth and production of sweet potato in 1 cuttings/sack. The treatment of manure type had a significant effect on all parameters. The best growth and production of sweet potato in goat manure. The interaction of the treatment of the number of cuttings and the type of manure had a significant effect on stem length and tuber weight per sample. The best combination was 1 cuttings/sack and goat manure.en_US
