dc.description.abstractSubsidized fertilizers are fertilizers that are supervised by the government and receive subsidies for their procurement and distribution. Deli Serdang Regency is one of the regions that receives subsidized fertilizer assistance but there are still several obstacles in its distribution, namely irregularities in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers, imbalances between availability and needs, and inaccuracies in distribution. The research was conducted to find out farmers' perceptions of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism. The data analysis method used was descriptive analysis to explain the pattern of subsidized fertilizer redemption and farmers' perception of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism, ordinal logistic regression analysis to see the factors that affect farmers' perception of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism. The data used is primary data obtained directly from the field through interview methods and questionnaire distribution, in addition to data processing using Spss. The results of the study show that there are six stages in the pattern of subsidized fertilizer redemption in Deli Serdang Regency. Farmers' perception of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism can be explained by the variables of farmer age, education level, farming experience, land area, capital, institutional, cosmopolitan of 87.4% while the remaining 12.6% is explained by other variables outside the model. Farmers' perception of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism is to know. Factors of farming experience, land area, capital, and institutions have a significant effect on farmers' perception of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism, while the factors of farmers' age, education level and cosmopolitan do not have a significant effect on farmers' perception of the subsidized fertilizer redemption mechanism.en_US
