Analysis of the Influence of Institutional Ownership, Leverage, Operating Capacity, and Sales Growth on Bankruptcy Prediction in Textile Sub Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2019-2024
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of institutional ownership, leverage, operating capacity, and sales growth on the prediction of bankruptcy. The population in this study consists of textile sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2024 period. The independent variables in this study are institutional ownership, leverage, operating capacity, and sales growth, while the dependent variable is bankruptcy. This research uses a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis on panel data. The research sample includes 14 textile companies selected through purposive sampling. The data were obtained from financial and annual reports available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and analyzed using EViews 13. The results show that institutional ownership and operating capacity have a negative but insignificant effect on Bankruptcy. Leverage and sales growth has a positive and significant effect on Bankruptcy.
