This study aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence on parental burnout among mothers of children with special needs, with social support as a moderating variable. A quantitative method using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) was employed with SPSS version 30. The sample consisted of 100 mothers from various regions in Indonesia. The results indicated a significant negative effect of emotional intelligence on parental burnout, suggesting that higher emotional intelligence is associated with lower levels of parental burnout. Furthermore, social support was found to moderate and strengthen this relationship. These findings highlight the critical role of emotional intelligence and social support in reducing parenting burnout among mothers caring for children with special needs.en_US
