dc.description.abstractThis study aims to describe the level of patriotism among Generation Z students studying at Pesantren Darul Arafah Raya. The research involved 100 student participants who fall within the Generation Z category. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling with an accidental sampling approach. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method, with data collected using a Likert scale instrument. The measurement tool was developed based on the theory of patriotism, namely the patriotism attitude scale (PAS) by Schatz (1999), and consisted of 18 items after one item was removed during the validation stage. The results showed that the students’ level of patriotism was in the moderate category. Furthermore, the study found that factors such as age, academic major, and political orientation contributed to the variation in patriotism levels demonstrated by the respondents. These findings suggest that individual backgrounds play a role in shaping students’ sense of patriotism.en_US
