Efektivitas Komunikasi Penyuluh Pertanian dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat Tentang Pentingnya Pertanian Organik di Desa Talimbaru Kecamatan Barusjahe Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of agricultural extension agent communication in increasing public awareness of the importance of organic farming in Desa Talimbaru, Kecamatan Barusjahe, Kabupaten Karo and analyzing the factors that influence the effectiveness of agricultural extension agent communication in increasing public awareness of the importance of organic farming in the research area. The number of samples used were 100 farmers. The method used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study are the effectiveness score of 76.2%, it means it is in a high- performance agricultural extension. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that partially the Method of Extension and the Communication ability from the farmer extension variable has a significant effect on the level of farmer awareness of organic farming practices/effectiveness of agricultural extension workers. Simultaneously X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 simultaneously affect Y (the level of farmer awareness of the importance of organic farming).
