| dc.description.abstract | Adolescents posyandu is one of the innovations of community-based health services
that aims to improve the health of adolescents through promotive and preventive
approaches. This program includes various activities such as education on healthy
living skills, reproductive health services, mental health counseling, nutrition
screening, to prevention of violence and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
Bandar Khalipah Health Center has played a role in organizing adolescents
posyandu for more than two years. The implementation of Adolescents posyandu in
the working area of Bandar Khalipah Health Center has not been optimal,
adolescents posyandu cadres have never received training so that not all of them
are competent, and there is a lack of participation of adolescents in visiting
Posyandu. This study aims to determine the implementation of the adolescents
posyandu program in the working area of Bandar Khalipah Health Center, Percut
Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. This study is a qualitative descriptive
study with 11 informants as research subjects. Data collection was carried out
through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the
study indicate that the implementation of adolescent posyandu in the Bandar
Khalipah Health Center work area has not met the standards, due to the lack of
availability of facilities, limited implementation time, and lack of competence of
posyandu cadres. From this study, it is expected that the Bandar Khalipah Health
Center, Village Government, Deli Serdang Regency Health Office, will re-evaluate
the implementation of adolescent posyandu in the Bandar Khalipah Health Center
work area starting from the availability of facilities and the competence of
