This study aims to identify the types of interpersonal metaphor and describe how the realization of interpersonal metaphor based on the theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics by Halliday. This research used descriptive qualitative method based on Cresswell, the data is collected from clauses containing interpersonal metaphor from 3 Prabowo's speeches which are Prabowo's Speech at the World Government Summit 2025, APEC CEO Summit, 2024 and Indonesia-China Business Forum in Beijing, 2024. The results of this study showed that there were 41 data that were classified into 2 types of interpersonal metaphor, namely interpersonal metaphor of mood and interpersonal metaphor of modality. The most dominant type of interpersonal metaphor found in Prabowo's speeches is modality, with a total of 29 clauses (70.73%) Consists of: (a) probability (modalization) is 22 (75.87%) clauses, (b) inclination (modulation) is 7 (24.13%) clauses. Followed by the mood type was found in 12 clauses (29.27%), consisting of: (a) metaphorical code command realized in declarative mood is 4 (33.33%) clauses, (b) metaphorical code statement realized in imperative form is 1 (8.33%) clause, (c) metaphorical code offer realized in imperative form is 5 clauses (41.67%), and (d) metaphorical code offer realized in declarative form is 2 (16.67%) clauses. Prabowo utilizes interpersonal metaphors and incongruent language styles in discussing strategic issues to convey messages diplomatically. Thus, it can manage the audience's response while creating a strong power of persuasion, especially for foreign governments and investors.
