dc.description.abstractScreen adaptation examines how a novel is transformed into a film. The filmAzzamine by Benni Setiawan is an adaptation of the novel Azzamine by SophieAulia, which underwent screen adaptation during the adaptation of the twoobjects. This research aims to describe the additions, reductions, and variationsthat occur in the adaptation using the Ekranisasi Pamusuk Eneste approach. Thistype of research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collectiontechniques of observation and note-taking, indicating minutes in the filmandpages in the attached novel. The research findings reveal that there are additions, reductions, and variations in changes when adapting a novel into a film, as well as intrinsic elements such as plot, characters, and setting. The results of thisresearch are expected to help understand the dynamics of adapting literature intofilm using screen adaptation studies.en_US
