Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Upah Minimum Provinsi, dan Inflasi terhadap Penerimaan Zakat di Indonesia Tahun 2019-2023
The Effect Of Economic Growth, Human Development Index, Provincial Minimum Wage, and Inflation on Zakat Revenue in Indonesia 2019–2023
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, Human Development Index (HDI), provincial minimum wage (UMP), and inflation on zakat revenue in Indonesia during the period 2019–2023. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression covering 34 provinces over five years of observation. Chow and Hausman tests indicate that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the most appropriate model for this study.
The results show that HDI and inflation have a positive and significant effect on zakat revenue, while economic growth and minimum wage do not show a statistically significant partial effect.
The fixed effect analysis reveals varying contributions across provinces. Regions such as West Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi, and West Java show consistently high contributions, while provinces like Yogyakarta and Central Sulawesi exhibit lower levels. These findings highlight the importance of local-based zakat policies and human development as key drivers for improving national zakat performance.
