This comparative study investigates the differences in clothing style preferences based on big five personality traits. The participants consisted of 128 individuals aged 17 to 50 years old, residing in Indonesia, who where not employed in the fashion industry. To analyze the variations in film genre preferences across personality types, chi-square analysis was employed. Data were collected using a Likert-scale instrument, the IPIP-BFM-25 developed by Akhtar and Azwar (2018), comprising 25 items. The results yielded a chi-square test value of 12.808 with degrees of freefom= 12 and a significance level (p-value) of 0.337. As the significance value exceeds the conventional threshold of 0.05 (p > 0.05), it can be concluded that there is no statistically significant differences in clothing style preferences among individuals with different Big Five Personality traits.en_US
