Analisis Kadar Lemak Kasar Tumbuhan Indigofera Sp dan Bungkil Inti Sawit (Bis) di Loka Pengujian Standar Instrumen Ruminansia Kecil (LPSIRK) Menggunakan Metode Soxhletasi

Abstract

An analysis of the crude fat content of Indigofera and BIS at LPSI RK has been carried out. The crude fat produced from the determination of crude fat is the extraction of chlorophyll, xanthophyll and carotene. The fat content of a feed ingredient can be determined using the Soxhlet method, namely the process of taking an ingredient in a Soxhlet tube. Determination of fat content was carried out using petroleum benzene solution as a solvent. The purpose of analyzing crude fat content is to determine the nutritional value contained in plants, where the method used to analyze crude fat content is the Soxhlet method. The results of the analysis of the percent crude fat content obtained from Indigofera and BIS were 2.70% and 9.05%. Keywords : Animal Feed, BIS, Crude Fat, Indigofera, Soxhlet Method
