Oil loss in the palm oil pressing process is still avoided by palm oil companies, and the loss of oil that sticks to the fiber and shell of palm oil after going throung the pressing process. The oil loss analysis process aims to determine the percentage of oil loss in fiber and shell, where the samples analysis are shell/seeds, boiled water 1 and 2, slat separator, empty ladders, fiber pressing 1 and 2, and waste, and the analysis method used is soxhlet extraction where the percentage of oil loss in each sampel is 2,18%, 1,02%, 2,075, 1,28%, 7,90%, 5,20%, 5,51% and 1,07% and the average oil loss from all samples is 3,17% while the percentage of oil loss according to the company is 2%-4%.en_US
