    Abstract
The calibration of a measuring vessel is a crucial process to ensure accuracy and traceability in liquid volume measurements. This study aims to calibrate a 20-liter measuring vessel using the gravimetric method and evaluate its accuracy, volume deviation, and the feasibility of the applied method based on international standards, specifically OIML R 120. The calibration was conducted using the gravimetric method, where the mass of water filled into the vessel was measured and converted into volume by considering water density and temperature corrections. The results showed that the vessel demonstrated a very high level of accuracy, with a relative error of 0.111%, which is significantly below the tolerance limit set by OIML. The obtained volume deviations were also very small and stable, with an average deviation of 0.01110 mL, making it suitable to be used as a fixed correction value in each use. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the 20-liter measuring vessel is suitable for high-precision volume measurements. Additionally, the gravimetric method proved to be effective, accurate, traceable, and compliant with international standards, and can be implemented using standard laboratory equipment. This study also emphasizes the importance of accurate and traceable calibration methods to support measurement quality in both laboratory and industrial applications.
