This study aims to analyze the political communication strategy employed by Anies Baswedan in the video entitled "Anies Notes After the Presidential Election and the 2024 Regional Election Registration," focusing on the representation of political resistance and the ideology of change he promotes. Using a qualitative approach with multimodal analysis and Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics method, the research examines how various modes of communication such as gestures, facial expressions, visual composition, and verbal narratives are used to construct meaning and convey political messages. Data were collected through video observation and document study, then analyzed descriptively by examining multiple modes of communication to explore how thig political messages were conveved. The findings indicate that the video not only presents a reflective narrative following the presidential election loss but also serves as an articulative space for resistance against political dominance and hegemonic power. Through verbal symbols such as "the struggle is not over" and the use of simple yet powerful visuals, Anies Baswedan positions himself as a symbol of a broader movement for change. The video also highlights how social media, as a new form of media, plays a central role in the dissemination of political discourse and the construction of political identity within the digital democratic landscape. These findings reinforce that contemporary political communication is inseparable from the complexity of multimodality and the ideological symbols constructed within digital media spaces.
