dc.description.abstractBackground: Plot is an important element in a movie that determines the storyline and character development. The Flash (2023) offers a complex narrative about time travel, the consequences of past changes, and the emotional growth of the main character. Analysis of the movie's plot is important to understand the narrative structure and the moral message conveyed. Objective: This study aims to describe the plot stages based on Freytag's theory and identify the main themes contained in the plot of the movie The Flash (2023). Method: This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The author observed the storyline in the film and categorized the events based on Gustav Freytag's five stages of plot theory, namely exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. In addition, the writer also identified dominant themes through an interpretive approach. Results: The Flash (2023) has a systematic plot structure according to Freytag's model. The story begins with the background of the main character, develops through time-travel conflicts, reaches a climax when facing a major threat, and ends with an emotional decision that brings change. Emerging themes include trauma, regret, loss, and self-acceptance. Conclusion: The plot of The Flash is well organized through stages that build tension and resolution. The themes raised provide a profound message about the importance of accepting the past and taking responsibility for actions.en_US
