| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based weight and height measuring device using Loadcell and HC-SR04 sensors. The background of making this tool is based on the community's need for a practical, accurate, and real-time digital measuring device. This tool uses a Loadcell sensor to measure weight and an HC- SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure height. The ESP32 microcontroller is used as the system control center and a connector to the Blynk application so that measurement data can be displayed directly on a smartphone.
Testing the tool shows that the Loadcell sensor has a fairly good level of accuracy in measuring loads above 20 kg with the lowest error of 1.09% and the highest 8.47% for light loads. Meanwhile, the HC-SR04 sensor is able to measure height with a very low error rate, which is between 0% and 0.345%. These results indicate that the designed tool has a good level of performance and can be used to support digital monitoring of physical conditions. | en_US |
