    Abstract
Workers of PT Sabaritha Perkasa Abadi who are engaged in construction in the manufacture of hotmix asphalt. During the initial survey, it was found that workers were still less compliant in applying the SOP correctly, namely not wearing complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working. Awareness and compliance with the use of PPE is very important to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every worker involved in the paving process. The importance of workers' compliance with PPE helps to understand that this action is not just an obligation, but a vital step in protecting themselves. This study aims to determine the factors associated with compliance with PPE use among PT Sabaritha Perkasa Abadi workers in Kabanjahe, Karo Regency. This study used a cross-sectional quantitative method involving 40 workers. Data collection was done through interviews using a questionnaire. Measurement of worker compliance using observation sheets by direct observation and variables of knowledge, attitude, and supervision using questionnaires and variables of PPE availability using observation sheets. The spearman rank correlation test was used to analyze the data which showed a relationship in knowledge with a value (p-value <0.05), attitude with a value (p-value <0.05), and supervision with a value (p-value <0.05). From the results of the study, it was obtained that there were 16 workers (40%) compliant in using PPE and 24 workers (60%) were not compliant in using PPE. It is recommended that the company provide education and awareness programs on the importance of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as enhance supervision efforts to ensure workers consistently adhere to established regulations and procedures, especially concerning PPE usage.
