Uji Kinerja Biobaterai Berbasis Karbon Sekam Padi dan Serbuk Gergaji dengan Variasi Komposisi Elektrolit Larutan NaCl
Performance Test of Biobattery Based on Rice Husk Carbon and Sawdust with Variations in the Composition of NaCl Solution Electrolyte
Abstract
Biobattery is one of the environmentally friendly innovations that can
store energy by utilizing organic materials as a source of energy. This research
aims to determine the effect of variations in NaCl solution composition, battery
size, and loading time on the performance of biobatteries based on rice husk
carbon and sawdust. The research method carried out was an experiment using a
Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RAL), involving three factors namely the
composition of NaCl solution (50%; 70%; 90%), battery size (AA, C, and D), and
loading time (30, 60, 90 minutes), then analyzed using variance analysis
(ANOVA) and Duncan Multiple Range test (DMRT). The parameters tested
included voltage, current, and power. The results showed that the composition of
the NaCl solution had a significant effect on the performance of the biobattery,
with the best reluts obtained in the N3 treatment (0% NaCl solution). The battery
size had a significant effect on the performance of the biobattey, with the best
performance in the B3 treatment ( C battery). The loading time had a significant
effect on the performance of the battery, where the best results were shown by the
T1 treatment (30 minutes), and the interaction between NaCl solution and battery
size had a significant effect on the performance of the biobattery, ith the best
combination shown by the N3B3 treatment (90% NaCl solution and D battery).
This study shows that biobattery based on rice husk carbon and sawdust with
variations in the composition of NaCl solution electrolyte has potential as an.
