Butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea) is a plant rich in antioxidant compounds,
one of which is flavonoids that help prevent stress in broiler chickens. Stress in
broilers affects feed intake and ultimately impacts economic value. This study aimed
to determine the effect of using butterfly pea infusion on the economic performance
of broiler production, specifically analyzing Break Even Point (BEP), Income Over
Feed Cost (IOFC), Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C), and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C). The
research was conducted for 35 days at an experimental poultry farm located on Jl.
Besar Delitua, Gg. Cempaka No. 42C. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD)
was used, consisting of five treatments and four replications. The treatments
included: P0 = control; P1 = 15 ml/L; P2 = 30 ml/L; P3 = 45 ml/L; and P4 = 60
ml/L of butterfly pea infusion in drinking water. The observed variables included
BEP, IOFC, R/C, and B/C. The results showed that the administration of butterfly
pea infusion had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the production BEP, but no
significant effects were observed on the price BEP, IOFC, R/C, or B/C. The best
trend numeric treatment was P4, with a dosage of 60 ml/L of drinking water.
