| dc.description.abstract | Novice entrepreneurs often face various challenges in developing their businesses. One effective strategy to address this is through entrepreneurship training and mentoring programs. Bunda Produktif is a passion-based digital training and mentoring program organized by Institut Ibu Profesional. Although digital training has seen significant growth, systematic studies on the relationship between training, mentoring, and the success of entrepreneurial ventures-particularly among housewives-remain limited. This study aims to explore the synergy model of training and mentoring for novice entrepreneurs within the Bunda Produktif program at Institut Ibu Profesional North Sumatra and to assess its impact on business success. This study employs a qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo 15. The findings reveal that the success of training and mentoring is influenced by the synergy between community-based training, ongoing mentoring, and the utilization of digital community platforms. The program has been shown to improve self- efficacy, productivity, and participants' economic and social contributions. Key success factors include facilitator competence, community involvement, and access to digital infrastructure. Meanwhile, barriers include time management issues, low self-efficacy, financial independence, limited post-program activities, and the need for further development of the program and Hexagon City infrastructure. The development of an adaptive training and mentoring model based on community and passion, integrated with a digital monitoring system for sustainability, can be replicated in other communities. | en_US |
