This study analyze the role of the Family Welfare Empowerment Institution (PKK) of Sidorame Barat II Village in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) managed by female heads of families. This study aims to identify the role and challenges faced by PKK in empowering female heads of families through MSMEs. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews and documentation. The research informants consisted of 10 people, including female heads of families with diverse backgrounds and members of the PKK management. The results of the study indicate that the existence of MSMEs contributes significantly to the economic empowerment of female heads of families, especially in increasing income and developing existing resource potential. PKK plays a role in providing entrepreneurship and financial management training, which strengthens economic independence. However, the study also identified various challenges, such as access to financial services, business development, and supportive regulations. These findings strengthen the relevance of Talcott Parsons' structural functional theory in the context of women's economic empowerment because it emphasizes the importance of the role of each element in society to achieve balance and stability and the importance of integrating services and policies in efforts to achieve sustainable economic empowerment for female heads of households in Sidorame Barat II Village.
