This study aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis of feminist discourse in the novel No Better Time through the application of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The theoretical framework utilized in this study was Fairclough’s Three-Dimensional Model of Critical Discourse Analysis, which explored discourse across three interrelated dimensions: textual analysis, discursive practice, and socio-cultural practice. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method to examine selected discourses within the text. The findings revealed that the novel constructed a feminist discourse primarily through the representation of African American female characters set against the backdrop of World War II. In addition to feminist themes, the novel also constructed an anti-racist discourse, reflecting the historical context in which racism was pervasive. The narrative sought to convey a message of resistance against both gender and racial oppression.en_US
