dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the effect of Bank Health Level on Profit Growth in the company PT. Bank Sumut with an observation period from 2021 - 2024 seen from the monthly financial report. The variables in this study include Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) where Capital Adequacy Ratio is a capital adequacy ratio that functions to accommodate the risk of loss that the bank may face, Non Performing Loan (NPL) where Non Performing Loan is a loan that cannot be repaid by the debtor, which can result in losses for the bank, Return On Asset (ROA) where Return On Asset is a financial ratio that measures how efficient a company is in generating profits from its assets, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) is a ratio that measures the proportion of loans provided by the bank compared to the total deposits held, Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) is an efficiency ratio used to measure the bank's ability to control operating costs against operating income and Profit Growth is a ratio that describes the company's capacity to increase net profit compared to the previous period. The sample in this study amounted to 48 Company data using purposive sampling. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis, IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results in this study are the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) variable has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, the non-performing loan (NPL) variable has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, the return on assets (ROA) variable has a negative and significant effect on profit growth, the loan to deposit ratio (LDR) variable has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, the operating expenses operating income (BOPO) variable has a negative and significant effect on profit growth. | en_US |
