    Abstract
The reading interest of the Indonesian public has long been a central focus in efforts to develop high-quality human resources. The purpose of this final project is to examine the utilization of Rumah Literasi Ranggi (Ranggi Literacy House) in enhancing the reading interest of the community. This study involved direct observation and interviews conducted at Rumah Literasi Ranggi. The findings reveal that Rumah Literasi Ranggi organizes weekly reading classes using engaging books that match children's reading abilities. The use of visual strategies and interactive activities increases children's interest in reading. The learning process is designed in the form of play, discussion, and outdoor activities. Children are encouraged to actively ask questions, respond, and learn from their peers. They are also guided to participate in classes aligned with their interests, such as dance, writing, poetry, agriculture, and broadcasting—fostering the rapid development of specific skills. The use of gadgets and the internet helps children better understand the material and enhances their social skills and self-confidence, particularly among shy children. Simple disciplinary rules are applied to instill a sense of responsibility. A collective sanction system cultivates social awareness among peers. As a result of a structured yet enjoyable learning atmosphere, children become accustomed to completing tasks independently and responsibly without parental prompting. Rumah Literasi Ranggi has successfully increased children’s reading interest and learning quality while empowering the community through creative, technology-based, and character-oriented approaches. The existing programs also promote independence, discipline, and holistic skill development in children.
