The research method applied is the qualitative descriptive method. The film Musang Berjanggut by P. Ramlee serves as the primary data source. The research results explain the intrinsic elements in the film Musang Berjanggut, including theme, characters and characterization, setting, plot, point of view, and message. The theme of the film Musang Berjanggut by P. Ramlee is "Destiny and life's journey in achieving desires with cleverness and effort." In the film Musang Berjanggut by P. Ramlee, there are 13 characters and their characterizations. There are 11 time settings, 9 place settings, and the socio-cultural setting in the film Musang Berjanggut by P. Ramlee showcases traditional Malay culture, including the tradition of betrothal, clothing, proverbs, and the culture of exchanging verses. The plot in this research is a linear plot. The point of view used is the third-person perspective. The message of the film Musang Berjanggut is to be a wise leader, the importance of finding the right partner, the importance of having true love and loyalty, and to be fair and uphold the truth.
