Pengaruh Tingkat Pemberian Air dengan Fertigasi Tetes Pada Media Tanam Cocopeat terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Cabai Merah Keriting (Capsicium annum L.)
Level of Water Provision with Drip Fertigation in Cocopeat Planting Media on the Growth of Curly Red Chili Plants (Capsicum annuum L.)
Abstract
The level of watering in cocopeat planting media plays an important role in determining the irrigation strategy of the plant. The study was conducted to obtain the growth of curly red chilies by providing tiered water through the Drip Fertigation system in Cocopeat media. The parameters analyzed included cocopeat mass density, cocopeat particle density, porosity, organic matter content, evapotranspiration, consistency of water productivity, water use, water use efficiency, weight and number of fruits from curly red chili plants. From this study, the cocopeat mass density was 0.082 g/cm3, the cocopeat particle density reached 1.60 g/cm3, with a porosity of 94.7%, organic matter content of 6.37%, evapotranspiration ranging from 1.7-2.3 mm/day, uniformity of water use 97.04%, water use efficiency 99.93%, the weight of the fruit from the curly red chili plant was around 13g-48g and the number of fruits from the curly red chili plant ranged from 3-12 fruits per polybag.
