Efektivitas Program Rehabilitasi Narkoba Korban Penyalahgunaan Narkoba Di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Bina Karsa Tuntungan

Abstract

Drug abuse is a serious problem that damages physical, mental, moral, social, and spiritual health, and threatens the future of Indonesia's young generation. The high rate of abuse in North Sumatra and its negative impact on individuals, families, communities, and the nation, demonstrates the need for an effective rehabilitation program to recover victims of drug abuse. Bina Karsa Tuntungan Mental Hospital has a unique rehabilitation program that combines medical, psychosocial, spiritual therapy, and skills training to restore patients holistically. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the drug rehabilitation program in the recovery of drug abuse victims at Bina Karsa Tuntungan Mental Hospital using effectiveness measures according to Sutrisno (2007), namely program understanding, on-target, on-time, achievement of goals, and real change. Program. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants consisted of key informants the Director of Bina Karsa Tuntungan Mental Hospital, key informant patients participating in the program, and additional informants nurses. The results showed that the rehabilitation program was effective. Patients showed improvements in physical, mental, behavioral, and social readiness.
