Post-harvest damage to climacteric fruit such as guava (Psidium guajava), apart from being caused by metabolism, can be caused by pathogen infection caused by C. gloeosporioides. The use of natural coatings with plant extracts does not cause negative effects on the environment. This research aims to compare the effectiveness of various plant extracts as natural coatings against the cause of anthracnose (C. gloeosporioides) and determine the shelf life of guava fruit. This study used a Completely Randomized Non-Factoral Design with 8 treatments, namely negative control (K-), positive control (K+), aloe vera extract treatment (P1), andaliman extract treatment (P2), guava leaf extract treatment (P3), treatment chitosan (P4), D'flava treatment (P5), and fungicide treatment (P6). The results of the study showed that in the in vitro test, andaliman treatment was the best treatment with a growth area of 4.34 cm2 and the effectiveness of the plant extract was 66.50% with a strong category. Meanwhile, in the in vivo test, from observations of the effectiveness of plant extracts, none showed an effective category. The ability of the extract to coat the fruit and its interaction with the tested microorganisms is thought to be less effective. The best incubation period observation was found in the chitosan treatment with a value of 11.78 hsi, an increase of 3 days when compared to the positive control treatment (+). In observing fruit freshness, andaliman treatment was the best treatment with an average weight loss value of 7.10 gr, disease severity of 71.11% at 18 days after planting, disease incidence of 100% at 18 days after planting and pH testing of 5.6.en_US
